Streetwear isn't about wearing more. It's about wearing the right thing with intent. A graphic tee is usually the loudest piece in the outfit, so everything else you put on should support it, not compete with it.
1. Tee, straight-leg denim, one accessory
Start simple. A bold tee like We Are The Future already carries the outfit — pair it with straight-leg denim and pick one accessory (a chain, a cap, a watch). Two loud pieces fight each other. One loud piece plus denim always works.
2. Tee under an open overshirt
Layering doesn't mean hiding the graphic. An open flannel or light jacket worn unbuttoned frames the design instead of covering it, and gives you something to lose when it warms up.
3. Tee and cargos for off-duty days
Cargo pants and a graphic tee is the uniform for a reason — it's comfortable, it photographs well, and it doesn't require thinking past two items. Add one pair of clean trainers and you're done.
4. Tuck it, don't drown in it
The single change that upgrades most streetwear outfits: a half-tuck. A tee that's fully untucked and oversized can read as sloppy rather than intentional. Tuck the front, let the back hang — it defines the silhouette without losing the relaxed fit.
5. Let the graphic be the only loud thing
If the tee has a bold print or text, keep shoes, bottoms and outerwear neutral. Black, grey, khaki, white — let them recede so the design stays the focal point. This is the fastest way to make an outfit look put-together instead of thrown-on.
